Guidelines for users of Autism Learning Hub platform AutismLearningHub aims to empower the parents of children who are diagnosed with autism or are undiagnosed and showing challenges of autism spectrum disorder. The focus is to make the parents aware and give them tools of right kind of stimulation that they can provide to their child and facilitate learning. The definition of “Platform” is meant to include the AutismLearningHub website, its associated services and products and all its online and offline assets including but not limited to the AutismLearningHub blog, forum, social media assets, Whatsapp groups, emailing lists and sms lists. The term AutismLearningHub and “Platform” are used interchangeably in this policy document. The platform is meant to empower and bring awareness of different aspects of training and learning benefits to the children and adults with autism. When requesting advice or opinion, please state your specific intervention needs so that responses from other members on the platform can be specific to your case. Members of the Platform can gain awareness, intervention process and new researches in this field by reading the blog, which contains resources and articles on different topics like speech and oro-motor exercises, sensory integration, behaviour management, biomedical intervention, life skill training, cognitive development and other aspects related to Autism spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities. Members can also avail the services of Autism Learning Hub consultation with the empanelled professionals in their respective fields. However, this would be a direct relationship between the said member and the said Expert, with no involvement of or liability of part of AutismLearningHub. Each parents using the platform is also encouraged to conduct their own research and study to address their specific needs. Community Policy : When responding to the audience query or request for advice on the platform, please limit your response to the query or specific intervention strategy or to the domain. No public mention, promotion or critique of any specific brand, company, company product or company service is allowed. This will be strictly enforced. Limit your response to the specific child and the specific concern. It is not encouraged to drag examples of other client, their name, confidential information and condition to bring into discussion. No spamming the platform or its member community with events, workshops, webinars, seminars, talks or any other activity without the express permission of AutismLearningHub to do so. No promo posts or links, spam forwards, greetings or requests on behalf of relatives or friends that are not related to the objective of this group are allowed. This platform is solely meant to discuss and bring therapeutic benefits for parents with children with autism spectrum disorder and other intellectual disability conditions.
